Dr. Gregory J. Seigworth is a Professor of Digital Communication and Cultural Studies at Millersville University. He is co-editor, with Melissa Gregg, of The Affect Theory Reader (Duke UP, 2010) and managing editor of the open-access journal Capacious: Journal for Emerging Affect Inquiry. Greg has published numerous chapters, essays, and reviews in a variety of venues, including Antithesis, Architectural Design, Cultural Studies, Culture Machine, Ephemera, m/c, Radical Philosophy andTheory, Culture and Society. He has also organized two large international conferences and a summer school focused on the lively interdisciplinarity of affect studies (in 2015 & 2018) at his home institution in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Greg has completed co-editing The Affect Theory Reader 2.0 (all new contributors and chapters) with Carolyn Pedwell; it should see light of day summer-fall 2023.
